Manufacturing Site Capabilities

R & D cum Pilot Plant Facilities
Presently, the LNC PHARMARIX has well-equipped R&D lab and pilot plant with state-of-the-art lab facilities; installed the most advanced manufacturing facilities and a few more high-end facilities are expected to be added to the list in the near future.
• Eight fume hoods with exhaust blowers
• Mechanical & Magnetic stirrers
• Autoclave / Hydrogenators 500 mL & 1 L with cooling and heating systems
• Heating mantles (1 L to 5 L)
• pH meter
• Analytical balance 0.1 mg to 10 kg
• Vacuum Oven & High Vacuumdistillations
• Glass reactors (50 and 100 L) with temperature ranging from - 78°C to 250°C

LNC PHARMARIX has Memorandum of understanding (MoU) for Plant (1 KL to 5 KL, Glass reactors and Stainless-steel reactors, total of ~25 KL, check Facilities for more details) and analytical support through external support to maintain confidentiality and protection.

LNC Pharmarix is founded by globally experienced Research scientist having both academic & industrial research background and expertise in various research fields Heterocyclic chemistry, natural product synthesis, drug discovery, and API intermediates synthesis. LNC Pharmarix has strengthened by a team of Custom synthesis and process development of intermediates and API experienced professional’s expertise in below areas:
• Literature search, process evaluation, route scouting, process optimization and development.
• Custom synthesis of CRO, CRAMs, Fine/Specialty chemicals, New Chemical Entities (NCEs), Fine & Speciality Chemicals, Amino acids/Peptides, etc.
• Literature search and Evaluation of infringement, non-infringement in the route of synthesis.
• Synthesis of API’s, KSM’s, Intermediates, process related impurities and Polymorphs.
• Execution of feasibility, optimization and validation of process.
• Preparation of process related documents as per regulatory requirement [ex: Process write-up, Process Development Report (PDR), Project development history, Specifications preparation, Document for material procurement, etc.]
• Preparation of research reports and PPT’s.
• Capable to write scientific and industrial based manuscripts.
• Primary process evaluation w.r.t. safety, hazardous materials usage, impurity profile formation including Genotoxic impurities and their control during the synthesis of API’s, KSM’s and Intermediates.
• Trouble shooting of scale-up problems.
• Process development and batch execution from lab level to plant level (mg to ton scale). The scale of the batch varied from product to product based on value of product.
• Synthetic route selection, estimation of costing, time lines to the assigned projects.
• Development of the process for the API’s and transfers the technology to plant for commercial scale manufacturing.
• Cost reduction of existing processes.
• Capability of managing multiple projects and excels in problem solving skills.
• Responding to regulatory queries with justification.

API Process Design & Development Skills:

• API development as per pharmacopeia and non pharmacopeia customized specifications.
• Process optimization, Resolution of Scale-up problems.
• Identifying and controlling process related impurities and their synthesis.
• Vendor qualification.

Patent, Regulatory affairs related Knowledge:

• Knowledge of patent priority, extension and expiry dates (US, EP, Japan) of projects.
• ICH & REACH guidelines regarding API development.

Dr. Narasimhulu Gandhamsetty

Technical and Managing Director

Dr. Narasimhulu is the founder of LNC PHARMARIX and has more than 19 years of academic and industrial experience. He earned his M. Sc. in Chemistry from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, and Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (CSIR-IICT, Supervisor: Dr. J. S. Yadav), Hyderabad, India.

There after, he worked as Manager for 4 years (2019 to 2023) at R&D Centre, Aurobindo Pharma Ltd (APL-RC2), Hyderabad, India. During his R&D tenure he handled various roles and led the development and technology transfer of numerous API’s & Intermediates (Safinamide Mesylate, Perindopril Arginine, Cabotegravir Sodium, Eslicarbazepine acetate, Sumatriptan Succinate, EribulinMesylate (N-7 to API), Ezetimibe, Rimegepant Sulfate, Gabapentin Enacarbil, etc). We are the team of dedicated, highly experienced scientists and R&D experts (3 Ph. D.and 4 Masters), who work passionately and drives the company's strategy, policies and monitors progress, products, processes and solutions to meet the highest global standards.
